The Red Hot Chilli Pipers Signature Chanter is engineered for performance, precision and durability — built using a combination of anodised aluminium and stainless steel components.
The stems and top section are crafted from anodised aluminium, featuring a stainless steel sleeve and a black acetal mouthpiece for a solid, comfortable feel. All other components are precision-machined from stainless steel, giving the chanter exceptional strength and longevity.
At the heart of the design is the newly developed bottom section, featuring the innovative Pitch Ring. This allows for fine, infinite adjustment of low G, giving players full control to dial in the perfect tuning regardless of stem choice.
Each chanter is supplied with two interchangeable stems, pitched in A and B♭, offering flexibility across different playing settings.
The reed seat is manufactured to an extremely tight tolerance of ±0.001 inch. This ensures a perfect fit with o-ringed reeds, making pitch adjustment simple, stable and consistent.
Thanks to the anodised finish and stainless steel threading, the chanter is highly durable and virtually maintenance free — built to withstand regular use without compromise.
Supplied ready to play straight out the box, each chanter comes fitted with a reed and is presented in a carbon black carry case, embossed with both ESSC and RHCP branding.
